Description of the training

Have you ever felt that you want to help, but are powerless, when you see a person's mental difficulties? Have you ever wanted to support someone in their problem, but felt that you were not competent? At PTF, you learn how to stand by others based on the truths of the Bible and the teachings and example of Jesus. Develop yourself under the guidance of authentic, practicing spiritual care instructors, in an honest and inspiring atmosphere! We look forward to your pastoral psychology training so that you can help those who need it.

What will you learn?

During the Pastoral Psychology specialist training:
  • you become capable of evangelical examination and evaluation of psychological images of people,
  • for the evangelical evaluation of communication, family systems, burnout resulting from stress, and anxiety, depression and grief that develop in the seven areas of fear,
  • you get to know the methodology of bibliodrama,
  • you will be able to evaluate the methodology of strategic planning, the SWOT analysis methodology, the basic knowledge of leadership psychology, as well as motivation and vision communication.
The training starts in correspondence. Due to the specific nature of the training, we can ONLY provide HYBRID education in this course.

Are you interested in the training, but would it be difficult to pay the cost? We offer the option of installment payments or look at the possibility of a training support scholarship!

Admission requirements

Applicants for the pastoral psychology specialist training program can be admitted if they have a bachelor's degree (or previous college education) in one of the following fields of study: humanities, teacher training, or social worker bachelor's degree. We can accept applicants from other fields of study if they have a recommendation from a church leader as a church worker, church practice, or health care practice as a volunteer. The admission decision is made based on an interview.
