What is TDK?
The TDK, i.e. Scientific Student Circle, is an opportunity within the Pünkösdi Theological College, with the help of which talented students get the opportunity to delve into the research of a topic of their choice, in addition to completing their mandatory tasks. Students participating in the TDK program prepare a scientific project (i.e. thesis) in accordance with the OTDK (National Science Student Circle) with the help of a supervisor, which is Pünkösdi Teológiai Főiskola presented at "in-house" faculty conferences. If the judging committee finds the presented work suitable for the national competition, it will be sent to the current OTDK conference.
The purpose of the TDK program, in addition to the possibility of the OTDK, is also to provide students with outstanding abilities an opportunity for professional advancement, to offer a platform for the fulfillment of their abilities, and to encourage them to cultivate theological sciences at a high level.
The work of the Student Circle within PTF is assisted by the head of the Research Institute.
How can you get into the College's TDK program?
All our full-time and correspondence students can participate in the TDK program (either in BA or MA) who meet the following conditions:
(1) he is not in his last semester of training (2) his participation in the program is recommended by the specialist teachers (3) he undertakes to fulfill the requirements related to the writing of the thesis by the specified deadlines.
If the above three conditions are met, the student must find a supervisor (if necessary, with the help of a teacher), who will support him throughout the process of preparing the thesis, as well as prepare him for the completion of the faculty conferences held within the institution.
