Description of the training
Do you think it is important that we deal with the next generations? Would you like to take part in helping children and families in difficult situations? With the Child and Youth Protection Consultant training, you can get a job in a number of positions related to child and family protection. Sign up for our training and do your part to ensure that families and children function healthily and develop - both physically and mentally.
The purpose of the training is to develop the professional competence and identity of professionals dealing with children and youth.
Continuing education - with the appropriate bachelor's degree - entitles you to fill these positions:
Family and Child Welfare Service and Family and Child Welfare Center – Senior Manager/Manager
Children's Home - Senior Manager/Manager
Fostering network - senior manager/leader and child protection officer
Territorial child protection professional service - senior manager/leader, committee family carer, child protection guardian, mediator, placement administrator
County child protection expert committee - leader
Family and child welfare center - case manager, counselor, social assistant
Nursery care, Alternative daytime care - coordinator
university or college-level education and professional qualification in a humanities (humanities, health, law, social administration and state administration, economics, pedagogic, social, theological) field
at least two years of professional experience in support work with families, children and young people. The applicant presents this certificate at the interview.
You can also complete 75% of the lessons remotely on a correspondence course. You can connect remotely via phone, tablet or computer. It's like sitting in class: you can comment and ask questions, the instructors and students are listening to you
