Mission
1. The college's mission is to provide Christian higher education based on the Holy Scriptures in a Pentecostal environment and to prepare students to serve God, the church and the world.
2. The mission of the college is primarily the training of Christian and Christian-minded professionals - theologians, pastors, pastoral staff, social and economic specialists - who, through the modern and comprehensive knowledge acquired in the field of the Holy Scriptures, pastoral work and economic and social sciences, and during the training, they prepare for church and wider social service by practical participation in church life and other professional environments.
The College's mission, explained in more detail:
1. We prepare theologians, pastors, and pastoral staff to
a) they are capable of the tasks entrusted to them
- to evangelize
- to help and strengthen in conversion,
- to disciple
- form into a congregation, or integrate into the congregation,
- lead effectively in their Bible study at different levels (making friends, making disciples, forming spiritual workers);
b) They should be able to shepherd and lead the church.
2. We prepare experts in economics and social sciences with a Christian approach for church and wider social service and work.
3. Our task as a result of our activity of cultivating science and conveying value
- through the scientific analysis of the Holy Scriptures, to make it possible to learn about the circumstances of the creation of the biblical books, the environment in which the first readers lived and received God's message regarding the entire Bible. We use this scientific analysis primarily in order to gain a deeper and more complete understanding of God's message and to provide answers to questions that arise in connection with biblical texts, as well as to facilitate the understanding of the divine message.
- the theoretical and practical foundation of Christian-based social involvement in the fields of economics and social sciences.
4. We create an opportunity to cultivate the science of faith so that
- the theological vision of our church should also be solid with scientific means;
- let the "theological workshop" formed at the college guard the theological vision of our church.
- the history of the Pentecostal movement should be authentically processed and published using various historiographical methods.
5. We see our profession as the spiritual and spiritual workshop of our sustaining church and the training ground for graduate professionals necessary for its wider social activities
- the cultivation of the biblical and evangelical heritage,
- nurturing the values of the Pentecostal-charismatic traditions, processing its history,
- the raising of timely questions of Christian and Christian-oriented service, research and the realization of related trainings.
Strategy
Pillars of an institutional culture of excellence
1. Authenticity
Authenticity is conveyed in the teaching stemming from the Christian character, clear theological vision, and scientific preparation of the instructors. The essential background for this is the setting of an example, which can be seen from a moral and worthy way of life. The service success of our graduating students is based on moral character, wise living and Christian living. This is realized in personal, family and community life, in social involvement, environmentally conscious behavior, and increased concern for the downtrodden and weak.
2. Performance
Performance is achieved through accurate, high-quality and accountable work in both teaching and learning. Measuring this, evaluating it in a fair and uniform system, and consistently and coherently evaluating excellent performances is the task of the institution's management.
3. Commitment
Dedication is based on self-denial stemming from following Christ and witnessing with full strength from the mission of the Pentecostal movement. A visible sign of this is the insatiable desire for immersion in learning and research and the multifaceted realization of the Christian mission. The development of the incentive conditions is achieved on the one hand by embracing "from below" initiatives, and on the other hand by continuously improving the sustainability of the institution in terms of working conditions, financial appreciation and opportunities for self-training.
4. Exercise of influence
Exercising influence on a broader social level in the exploration of the current possibilities and ways of presenting Christian values and spirituality, and on a church level in the representation of creeds based on the Holy Scriptures, evangelical-Pentecostal spirituality and congregational practice, andhiris realized as a result of To this end, the institution consciously builds and develops its conference and training activities, book publishing and the use of media.
