Successful PTF institution accreditation

The Hungarian Higher Education Accreditation Committee (MAB) has assessed our institution, the Pentecostal Theological College, as excellent with the longest validity period that can be granted within the framework of the institutional accreditation procedure. This means that the quality development system and its operation of our institution ensure that the certificates (diplomas) we issue comply with the international standards of excellence (ESG). In practice, this means that the accreditation of the PTF has been extended until October 31, 2029, so the certificates we issue can still be validated in any country in the world. We would like to thank all of you for your work, who contributed to the preparation of the self-assessment and the organization and preparation of the Visiting Committee's on-site visit. Last but not least, we are grateful to all of our lecturers and administrative staff, as you work dedicatedly for the … Read more

Volume 2 of Pastoral Psychology Studies - Life Themes has been published

One of the College's most important tasks is talent management, i.e. the care of talented students. We can embark on an exciting journey of discovery if we continue to savor this expression, which hides the richness and diversity of the goals, aspirations of the "caregivers" and the work that supports their realization. At our Department of Pastoral Psychology, we would like to highlight the 'talented care of students' from this richness - the need for lifelong learning certainly applies to us in this regard as well. In this spirit, we began organizing in the fall of 2020. As a result, in the spring of 2021, in cooperation with the Reformed Teacher Training and Music Faculty of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj, the I., and then in June 2023, the II. International Pastoral Psychology Student Conference, to which the Sárospatak Reformed University of Theology has already been invited... Read more

Summer pastoral psychology professional days

And yes, we met again – and for now, at least for the summer, for the last time! Today was the last, third time of the Summer Pastoral Psychology Professional Days series. In the usual closing round, I made a brief summary and outlook, referring to the basic goals of the professional program series (supplementation for current students, professional practice for graduates, professional community), as well as future plans (opportunities during the school year, next summer's professional-spiritual camp, etc.). I don't like to give too much away about anything that is still just a plan – as a "safety player", I like to limit myself to facts that can be treated as certain, but at the same time, because of the enthusiastic team of spiritual care workers (and family counselors, theologians, coaches), I am not able to keep my ... limits. Overall: each professional day ... Read more
