Modular courses

Would you like to deepen your knowledge of theology and the Bible, but would you like to avoid the stress of college exams? These trainings are for you. The application is not tied to a degree.

Description of the training

Our modular training courses are for you if you want to delve deeper into theology and Bible-related knowledge, but would like to avoid the stress of college studies and exams. We are also waiting for you if you do not have a high school diploma - there are no prerequisites for our modular training courses, anyone can apply. The B1 module lasts two semesters; you can learn the knowledge of 2-4 subjects per semester. The frequency of classes is one Saturday per month/semester, when you can participate in 4 90-minute double classes, as well as a Holy Spirit Day organized by the college. The training can be completed with three types of outcomes: (1) Certificate of participation (2) Exam with reduced requirements (3) Full exam. Why you should choose modular training: (1) You can take college courses without a prerequisite. (2) Trained instructors teach. (3) In case of exams, you can even count the completed subjects towards your college studies. (4) You can be a member of a community in which you can experience inspiration and healing. (5) Holy Spirit Day for the revival of our faith and the deepening of our mission. (6) You can also listen to foreign speakers to view your opportunities and challenges with a broader perspective.

70.000 HUF/semester (one module is free for MPE – ordained – pastors, appointed church leaders and/or one person delegated by them over two years.)

What will you learn?

You can choose from the following modules:

BIBLE

B1: Back to the source! The power of the inspired Word   Semester 1: (autumn semester)
    • Old Testament introduction and Bible knowledge 1.
    • New Testament introduction and Bible knowledge 1.
    • + 2 additional courses can be chosen in the fall semester of the 1st year of the Bachelor of Theology (BA). from the theology core material module
    • (More than 4 courses, the possibility of course enrollment and examination is subject to an additional fee: from the 5th course, the course enrollment fee is HUF 16.000/course, the exam fee is HUF 8.000/course).
Semester 2: (spring semester)
    • Old Testament introduction and Bible knowledge 2.
    • New Testament introduction and Bible knowledge 2.
    • + 2 additional courses can be chosen in the spring semester of the 1st year of the Bachelor of Theology (BA). from the theology core material module
    • (additional option: for more than 4 courses, the option of taking courses and taking the exam is subject to an additional fee: From the 5th course, the course enrollment fee: HUF 16.000/course, the exam fee HUF 8.000/course).
    • Holy Spirit Day (prayerful glorification occasion)

Admission requirements

Our modular courses are for everyone - application is not tied to a degree. The condition for admission is a pastoral recommendation (practicing pastors can apply in their own right). The admission decision is made on the basis of the interview.
