I was born in Pécs in 1973, and with the exception of one year abroad, I spent my whole life here. I obtained a mathematics teacher's qualification at the University of Pécs, then a university diploma in information technology teaching at ELTÉ. I taught for 10 years, first at the university's practical elementary school, then at a church high school.
Already during my high school years, I became interested in typography, the relationship between text and illustration. Parallel to teaching, I worked more and more with graphics, until in 2004 we founded the Creative Graphics Workshop, and I started working there full-time. In addition, I also actively participated in the life of the MEKDSZ starting from my high school years, and my life-long adventure related to Bible study and textual interpretation is connected to this. Within this framework, I have been teaching Hermeneutics for years at the independent Bible school called Fiúság Akadémia, and I am an active participant in several initiatives aimed at the interpretation of Biblical texts and the development of a preaching culture faithful to them (Evangelical Forum, Langham).
In 2013, I started to find my way back to the development roles, in connection with this we founded the Narratív Human Workshop, in the framework of which I dealt with mentoring, career counseling, career counseling and organizational development, and I obtained related qualifications in the framework of an American system accredited training (CDP) and a European through an adapted program of facilitator training (GCDF).
At the University of Pécs, I have been providing career counseling, career guidance and life career counseling to high school students, university students and adults since September 2015, and since 2018 I have been teaching learning methods to students.
In 2021, I completed coaching at PTF, and then I was invited to teach the subject of the Coaching process. In addition, at the University of Pécs, I participated in the development of a postgraduate study methodology consultant training together with two of my colleagues, and I am working on its launch, teaching and training management.
My areas of interest are the intersections of coaching, spirituality, experiential learning and stories. I deal with the use of the narrative therapy toolkit in coaching and the Christian critical evaluation of individual coaching schools. Starting in September 2023, I will also participate in the teaching of one subject each of two newly-started majors.
I am married, my wife Mónika is a high school German teacher, our two sons are university students, one of them is already married, so in addition to the two of them, we also had a daughter. We are grateful for the many precious relationships that God has blessed us with through our work and our families.
