I was born in 1966, in Budapest. My wife, Andrea Szalai, is a mental health specialist and coach. We are the happy parents of two fairy girls.
Workplace, research and teaching service
I am an employee of the Methodist Church in Mo, and my family and I are active members of the Óbuda church. As a presbyter, I teach monthly, and I teach religious history at the Forra High School maintained by the church.
I converted in 1990, after eight years of actively practicing Zen Buddhism. Since 1998, as the director of the Christian interdenominational faith defense outreach service of the Apology Research Center, I have provided research, teaching and consulting services. Since 1993, I have been teaching on various topics of defense of the faith by invitation in churches, youth groups, student missions, and pastoral circles.
I am a regular member of the Hungarian Society of Religious Studies and an authorized representative of my church in the Inter-Religious and Dialogue Committee of the MEÖT.
