The Vice-Rector's Speech Dear graduating students, our guests, beloved colleagues and brother president! I would now like to share with the graduating students and their immediate acquaintances the goals we set for ourselves. We leave it to you to judge how well we have achieved them. Our first goal was to have a community experience with you that will bring lifelong changes to you and to us. To create encounters with each other and with Jesus Christ that go beyond religious clichés. To experience the synergy in connecting with Him and with each other in which we learn much more than what the instructor can explain. Mónika Krasznay Continuation of the antecedents On June 27-28 of this year, as planned, we held our Pastoral Psychology Student Conference at the College, organized by the Department of Pastoral Psychology, this time for the second time since spring 2021. Similar to the first, this conference was international, although not international, as we were able to welcome among the invited and participating speakers this year, just like two years ago, the students participating in the pastoral psychology training of the Reformed Teacher Training and Music Faculty of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj. About pastoral psychology – together One of the goals of our conference is to create a professional community of practitioners and students of pastoral psychology in Hungary and in the Hungarian language, who enrich each other professionally and spiritually strengthen and encourage each other.

This year we visited 12 churches with the various PTF ministry groups. The primary purpose of the visits is to serve the churches and be a blessing to them. In addition, as an “additional” blessing, these opportunities serve to build relationships and promote our College. Both students and teaching colleagues participated in the groups. The theme of this year’s tour is: “Consecrate yourselves!” Romans 12:1-2. The choice of theme was inspired by the February revival at Asbury University (USA), where at the end of a regular devotional, the students were seized by the quiet, powerful and holy presence of the LORD. They sang quietly, prayed for themselves and their neighbors. They repented and interceded for healing. They continued to worship day and night, until February

Family biographical reconstruction During the two years of our Family Consultant / Family Therapist training, every trainee is required to undergo a so-called family biographical reconstruction. This is a self-knowledge and personality development system approach method based on the method of the renowned specialist, Virginia Satir (1916 – 1988), and during which we can gain greater insight into our multi-generational legacies that often influence our lives only unconsciously. By examining and processing these legacies along a selected question, we can get a chance to constructively deal with them, reframing them, and if necessary, saying goodbye to them. The work basically consists of two major parts: a long, several-week, or even month-long home preparation, during which we conduct interviews with our family members and relatives, going back generations:
